Does editing a Facebook Ads automation affect Meta’s learning phase?

I’m running a Facebook ad that uses a Manychat automation with the User clicks a Facebook Ad trigger. The ad is currently live in Meta Ads Manager, and I want to make some edits to the automation.

Before editing, I plan to pause the ad in Ads Manager, update the automation in Manychat, reactivate the trigger, and then turn the ad back on.

My question is: when I do this, does it affect Meta’s learning phase for the ad, or will the campaign continue learning normally after the ad is turned back on?

Hey @Branka
When you do that, it’s not the automation edit that affects Meta’s learning phase, but the act of stopping the ad itself.

Hi @Branka, to be honest I think it migh as you automation can increase or decrease use´s interaction with you brand - at least the welcome message.
