DON'T send follow up message if user replies

I’m using ManyChat to automate a follow up when someone clicks one of my Instagram ads.

This is working fine.

However, I want it to send them a second chaser message ONLY if they don't respond to the initial message: if they do respond, they should not receive a second chaser message, as I will be taking the conversation myself.

Is this possible? This surely must be a common use case but  I can’t find anything about it anywhere.

​@Luke_Sz you have to setup conditions, tags and smart delays to achieve this.

    This makes sense.

    However, I’m not sure if there’s any way to do this with ‘response to message’ rather than ‘button clicked’?

    ​@Luke_Sz yes, you can do it with Data Collection and storing the response in a User Field for example ;)
