If I create a post in my fb profile page and share it to my business page will it still trigger messenger?

In that scenario, then no, it should not work with shared posts. The comments would be on the original post, owned by your personal FB profile and not the business page, so no automations would trigger.
Still, the best way to check is to run a quick test! It’s also a good practice to catch any errors, ensure the user experience is how you meant it to be, and just make sure everything is working as expected ;)
