Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue connecting my Instagram account to ManyChat and I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before.

My Instagram was previously connected to a ManyChat workspace (codewith-imraan). Now the Instagram channel is no longer visible inside that ManyChat account, so I can’t manually remove or disconnect it.

However, when I try to connect the same Instagram account to a new ManyChat account, it shows errors like:

  • Already connected

  • Request sent

  • Instagram channel not active

I have already removed ManyChat from Instagram → Apps & Websites settings.

It looks like the Instagram account is still locked to the old workspace on the backend.

Has anyone experienced this?
How did you get it released or unlinked?

I’ve already submitted a support ticket, but I wanted to check if there’s anything else I can try in the meantime.

Hey ​@codewithimraan if the account is connected to an old workspace and you don’t have access to it, you need to contact support so they can help you regain access.

Make sure you mention the account names, any emails you have associated with them, and any other info to help the support team confirm that you’re the account owner.

Once they’ve verified you’re the owner they’ll be able to give you access to the correct accounts.
