Hi everyone,

I recently ran into a situation where:

  • We have a Manychat account with ONLY Facebook page account connected
  • However, for some reason...some users (subs) are being marked as “opted-in for WhatsApp”, even though NO WhatsApp account is connected to this Manychat account.

Anyone have any idea why this may be the case please?

And more so, how to resolve such situation?

@David_Ezih if you ask for their phone in your automations, and check the box to opt them into Whatsapp, they will be opted in to Whatsapp ;)

Having these users opted into Whatsapp doesn’t change anything in your account - it won’t increase your billing or affect anything else.
