Hi,
This happens because Meta only shares additional data with Manychat once a user interacts via DM or Comments.
The DM for new followers doesn't get that info (at the moment), and because of that it's empty. Once the user responds to your DM, Manychat will create a contact with all data it can gather from IG.
Therefore, you can just use the First Name variable after further interaction with the user. 😉
