Mr.Peter

My Follow to  DM automation for 2 of my clients has just stopped working.

It was going about 600 Followers a Day now it is at  0  the automation still says that it  is on and everything is green  but no followers are being triggered.

I havent seen anyone really post about this for 3-4 months.

How can I fix this has anyone gone to meta and it has worked? is it a permissions thing? Super important @Manychat Community

I will get about 1-5 triggers a day out of 600 followers

Hi @Mr.Peter,

This is probably Follow to DM eligibility. Meta reviews that on a rolling basis, separate from ManyChat, so the automation can stay green and "on" but just stop being eligible to fire. That'd explain going from ~600/day to almost 0. It also only triggers once per follower, so re-follows won't retrigger it.

Try Refresh Permissions first (ManyChat → Help → Refresh Permissions), it reconnects your IG account and fixes most of these. Guide here if needed: https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281308423452-Instagram-automation-troubleshooting

If that doesn't help, it's likely just a Meta-side review and may take a few days.

Hope this helps!

@cata_rendon  have you seen it where meta allows it to be back up  and live again? through support?

@cata_rendon have you seen patterns in what get people disabled via  meta?

Hi @Mr.Peter r, honestly I haven't personally seen support get one reactivated. It's fully Meta's call, not something ManyChat can push on. And no, I don't have a clear pattern on what triggers it either, it's been inconsistent across the cases I've seen. Best I can tell you is keep an eye on it after a few more days and open a ticket if it's still at 0 by then.
Hope this helps!
