I just received notification from Manychat support that I've been permanently banned from the platform. Since 2025, I've been having problems with Manychat accounts being disconnected and suspended. This wasn't affecting my Instagram account where I used Manychat.
It started in early 2025 when I tried to access my Manychat profile and the platform returned an "Access Denied" error. Upon contacting support, I was informed that my account was suspended for violating the rules and policies of "Section 7 - Prohibited Uses". When I questioned support, they told me they couldn't disclose the exact reason my account was canceled.
I read all of Section 7 - Prohibited Uses and there was nothing that violated any rules or platform policies. But I understood and moved on. I created a new account, and that's where my HELL began for over a year.
Every time I created an account, it was banned hours or minutes later. I kept messaging support to understand the reason, and they always said the same thing: Section 7 - Prohibited Uses. I tested new flows, new products, everything different. I read that damn section every time and got no answers. Support always remained silent, unable to explain further.
It was over a year and more than 20 accounts on ManyChat, and every time I spoke to support, the answer was the same, but they also told me I could create a new account.
And it all repeated itself… until I lost my last account, sent a message to support, and FINALLY they told me that I can no longer have an account on ManyChat, whether an old one or a new one.
Basically, I'm banned from the platform without knowing what I did wrong, without knowing if anything really went wrong, and without understanding what happened. I'm sad to know I can no longer use the platform, but also angry that they didn't tell me this before… otherwise, I wouldn't have spent over a year trying to use the platform.
If some miracle ever happens and I manage to get back to the platform, I'll be very happy again, but for now I just wanted to warn you that if your account is being banned multiple times, give up on ManyChat because you probably can't have an account on the platform anymore and they will NEVER tell you why!
