not sending from automation. How do I fix?

This can indeed happen for several reasons — such as the user being inactive, the version of the app they are using, or even a decision by Meta not to deliver that marketing message to that specific user.

I recommend testing by sending it to another user. If the issue occurs with all users, try sending a different message template.
