Hello, I’m experiencing an issue with my account connection and would like to ask for help.

Currently, my account is not connecting properly, and I keep encountering errors. I have already connected it successfully through Meta Business Suite, so I’m not sure why this issue keeps occurring.

Could you please help me understand what might be causing this error?

This usually means the Meta ↔ ManyChat permissions are not fully synced, even if the Instagram account looks connected in Meta Business Suite.

Simple things to check:

  1. Make sure the Instagram account is a Professional account
  2. In Instagram, turn on Allow access to messages
  3. In ManyChat, click Help → Refresh Permissions
  4. In Facebook/Meta, check Business Integrations → ManyChat and make sure all permissions are allowed
  5. If it still fails, remove ManyChat from Business Integrations, then connect it again from scratch

Also, if your IG is connected through Meta Business Suite, make sure ManyChat is set as the default app for conversation routing.

So the short answer is:
being connected in Meta Business Suite does not always mean ManyChat has all the permissions it needs. Usually the problem is missing message access, old permissions, or routing not set correctly.
