Everything I’ve seen tells me this is so easy and the best thing to use! I’m having nothing but issues! 

I created my account, linked my Instagram and Facebook messenger and set up a bunch of automations. My mentor messaged me last night and the automation worked! NOW, I can’t find that automation to edit it because I don’t like how I wrote it. In the process of everything, I think I may have disconnected Facebook because it keeps showing up with the email address that is on that account and not the one I used to sign up for this site. I tried to log into the website and NOTHING I did is there and I feel like I have multiple accounts at this point. The app on my phone is telling me that I need to connect Facebook, but when I go in there, it tells me I’m already connected. 

I don’t know if my detail was thorough or not because I’m just so frustrated. I got an email saying that a lot of people get tripped up at this point, and I came onto the site thinking it would walk me through what I did wrong maybe. Nope. Is there a chat or does this resonate with anyone that went through this and can help?

Do I just go through and remove my accounts and start over? I am really frustrated and have found no ease in this. I’m honestly surprised that both my phone and laptop aren’t at the bottom of my pond right now!

It sounds like there may be some confusion around which ManyChat account you're currently logged into, so I wouldn't recommend starting over just yet.

A couple of things to check:

  • Make sure you're logging in using the same method you originally used to create the account (Facebook, Google, Apple, or Telegram).
  • If you can access ManyChat, verify that you're viewing the correct Facebook Page. If you accidentally logged into a different ManyChat account, your automations may appear to be missing even though they're still there.
  • If you're experiencing connection issues with Facebook, try going to Help → Refresh Permissions and then reconnecting your Facebook permissions if prompted.

Hopefully it's just a login/account mix-up and not something that requires rebuilding everything from scratch. In case non of the above works, you can contact manychat support:  How to get support from Manychat – Manychat Help

I appreciate your response, I really do, but it really doesn’t help. When I log in from my phone, for some reason it shows up with an email account I haven’t used in probably more than 10 years...it should be a gmail account.

When I log in online, I get logged in  and see the correct email address, but none of my automations are there. 

BUT, my automations appear to be working. I thought I had made progress last week, but I guess I was wrong. 

I’m lost!
