I am trying to log in to my account but it is telling me that its linked to another instagram account, however this is not true. It is the same account just from when i had a different name.

If you can’t figure out where the other account is, you’ll need to talk to support so they can help you either gain access to the other account, or disconnected and connected to a new one, etc.
