Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help me resolve this issue:

  • I had a WhatsApp number registered in ManyChat, but my channel was deactivated due to insufficient funds.

  • I’ve since added credits, but when trying to reconnect, WhatsApp requires SMS/call verification.

  • The problem: I purchased this number directly through ManyChat, so it can’t receive SMS or calls (no physical SIM access).

  • I already removed it from Meta Business Manager, but it still won’t verify.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to:

  1. Get ManyChat to verify the number without SMS (e.g., via email or manual approval).

  2. Migrate the number to an SMS-enabled provider (like Twilio).

  3. Or am I forced to use a new physical SIM number?

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. 🙏

@Dante if you bought the number from Manychat, you won’t be able to use it elsewhere.

I suggest you get a new number (either on your Twilio account or a new SIM)
