My Instagram is connected to an old free ManyChat account. I upgraded to a paid account and need the Instagram disconnected from the old account so I can connect it to my new one.

You need to go to your old account → settings → Instagram channel → Remove IG account
Then, you can connect your Instagram account to the new Manychat account.
