When contacts are deleted, the pricing tier does not downgrade immediately. It can take up to a couple of hours for the change to be applied. Rest assured, the downgrade does go through once the system finishes processing the update.
Based on the screenshot you shared, it looks like it was taken shortly after the contacts were deleted, before the pricing change had time to apply. I can confirm that later that same day, the update was successfully processed and your pricing tier was downgraded accordingly.
