Hi I’m new to manychats and wanted to try the essential paid class but I hit the account limit even though I deleted all contacts and chats and now I’m afraid that the paid account will behave the same and I won’t be able to send automated DMs because of the contact limit.

I would really appreciate your help🙏

Hey! Unfortunately this is a known limitation with Manychat's free plan, the 1,000 contact limit counts all contacts that have ever interacted, including ones you've deleted. Deleting them doesn't reset your count on the free plan. It's a lifetime cap.

The good news: the paid Pro plan does NOT behave the same way. On Pro, deleting contacts actually reduces your contact count and your billing. So you won't get stuck the same way.

Hope that helps!
