How do I downgrade an App Store-managed ManyChat subscription?

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with my subscription.

My ManyChat subscription is managed through the Apple App Store, and I'm currently on the Pro ($39/month) plan. I only have less than 50 active contacts and I'm not using any Pro-only features, so I'd like to switch back to the Essential ($17/month) plan.

Since my subscription is managed through Apple, I'm not seeing an option to downgrade within ManyChat.

Has anyone gone through this before?

  • Can I downgrade directly through the App Store?

  • Do I need to cancel my current subscription first and then subscribe to the Essential plan?

  • Is there anything I should be aware of before making the switch?

    Hey, ​@leighstyle 

    Because the subscription was purchased through Apple, it must be managed through your Apple Account, not inside Manychat.

    Cancel the current Pro subscription in the App Store. It will remain active until the end of the current billing period. Once it expires, you can select the Essential plan through the Manychat app. Support can’t transfer or change an App Store subscription manually.
