I am very new to this so do you mind if I ask you some basic questions?  

First, what constitutes a “contact” For example there is only 1 contact on my account.  It is someone who sent me a random message.  I do not follow them.  Why did that 1 message count as a contact?  I deleted the message but it still is in my Manychat account as a contact.  Can I delete him from my contacts in Manychat?

Also, his message showed up in the Live Chat center.  Is there any difference between DMs and live chat messages? Why did only he show up as a contact?

Lastly, I have a ton of random messages from people.  Will this effect my manychat account ie the amount of contacts I have in Manychat? I’m clearing them out every day but it will take awhile.

Also, I am trying to link up my facebook page and my instagram account.  For some reason, they are showing up as two different accounts. 

I tried adding the facebook page to my instagram account but it made a new account.

A contact is created when someone interact with your account, commenting a post, replying a story, sending a DM.
Even if you delete the message, that contact still count. 

You can add as rule to delete the contact automatically.

Regarding your Facebook account, probably your account was already connected to another Manychat account.
