How to start conversations via DM when someone comments on your IG post?

Question

I tried to create an automation where:

User comments on my reel
User gets a DM from me. The message will be like “Hey thanks for the interest. Could you tell me abit about your goals and challenges? this will help me see if my coaching is the right fit for you”
Wait for user to reply.
When they reply, I send another message: “Thank you, I will get back to you ASAP”
If they don’t reply, I don’t send the second message.

Its not working because its asking me to mark the message as “Private Reply”. And when I marked as Private reply, it can only send the first message and use the button to trigger the second message.

Any one having the same issue or if anyone have any suggestions, pls let me know. I’d appreciate it!

Hey ​@AmyReverseMeThis is one of Meta’s limitations. 🥲When you set an automation to your posts/reels, your first message needs to be sent as a “private reply”, and usually is text plus a button.That message is necessary because Meta needs to be sure that the user wants to receive a DM from your account.
