I’m working on setting up a Ref URL trigger automation, however, when clicked the link brings the user to the DMs and notes that they have arrived there through a shared link, but MC does not track the automation as having been triggered, nor sends the “next step”, a DM message. The dm note is shown in the picture below above the reply text box - and to clarify the previous dm messages above it are from a different older and unrelated automation. The current automation and trigger are listed as published. I have updated/refreshed all my IG and FB permissions (as well as disconnected and reconnected all permissions through Meta Business Suite). I don’t have any conversation starters that would interrupt the automation. I have allowed access to messages in my message and story controls. I also have tried recreating the entire flow from scratch, and simplifying to what is pictured below, compared to a more complicated flow I was planning on using.
Does anyone know what else would cause this issue?
