Hey Bilal, short answer is that this isn't possible, and the part that is possible would put your page at risk. Worth knowing before you spend more time on it.

Manychat does not import conversations from before you connected your page. There's no backfill and no setting to turn it on. Those older customers only exist in your Meta Business Suite inbox, and you can still open that and reply to them one by one manually.

The bigger issue is the bulk send. Meta only allows promotional messages to people who messaged you in the last 24 hours. Old contacts are outside that window, so a campaign to them isn't allowed no matter which tool you use. Pages that blast old contact lists get their messaging restricted, so I'd avoid any tool or method that offers to do this for you.

What does work: get them to message you again. A post, a story, or a click to Messenger ad pointing old customers back to your inbox. When they message you, the 24 hour window reopens and they land in Manychat automatically. Slower than a blast, but it's the version that doesn't cost you your page.

You're right that broadcasts can go outside the 24 hour window. The catch is who they can reach.

The outside-window tool on Messenger is now Marketing Messages. It replaced Recurring Notifications in Feb 2026, it's paid, and it runs through Ads Manager. But it only sends to your Messenger List, which is people who tapped an opt-in button agreeing to get marketing from your page. It's not a list of everyone who ever messaged you.

And here's the loop: to ask someone for that opt-in, you have to message them, which means you need an open 24 hour window with them. Your old customers are outside the window, so you can't send them the opt-in request in the first place. The old message tags that used to get around this stopped working in April 2026.

So the tools are real, you just can't get your old contacts into them without them messaging you once more. That first message is the only door, and it has to come from them.

If you want to check it out anyway, search the Manychat help center for "Marketing Messages on Messenger." It'll be useful later once you're building an opt-in list from new conversations.
