I want to import contacts using a .csv file, but the system fields for 'Email' and 'Phone' are not appearing.

I am writing them correctly in the .csv file, but they are not being detected. As a result, I can't upload my database and I am unable to use Manychat.

How can this be fixed?

This usually happens because Manychat has some security measures in place to prevent system abuse. In many cases, the platform requires a prior verification before enabling the import of sensitive data like email addresses and phone numbers via .csv files.

 

If you have already checked your spreadsheet headers and the fields are still not being detected, the best approach is to contact support so they can check if there is a specific restriction on your account and manually enable this feature for you: https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281086345244-How-to-get-support-from-Manychat
