IG Comment DM Reply

I notice that a lot of my auto DM’s to IG comments are being sent but the recipient hasn’t received it bc IG is prompting me to invite them to a convo first? This new convo/contact isn’t reflected in Manychat either. Do I need to add a step to the automation so I get confirmation they want to receive the automated message first and THEN send the comment reply message?? HELP!!
