Instagram ads trigger not able to be selected

The button “user clicks an Instagram ad” for the trigger is gone. It’s still present on Facebook, just gone for Instagram. I have automations running for comments and DM’s on IG, so the Manychat<>IG connection is working. I’ve also tried refreshing permissions. Any thoughts?

Here’s the response I got from the support team in case anyone has this issue in the future:

Since you've connected your Instagram page to Manychat using the new registration flow (introduced after June 14, 2024), which doesn’t require linking to a Facebook page, you have experienced issues with the Instagram Ads trigger due to Meta's lack of support for this feature.

I understand this can be frustrating, and we’re committed to offering the best assistance and alternatives. Here’s a workaround you can use for Instagram Ads:

  • Consider utilizing the FAQ option in your Instagram Ad’s message template and replicate the keywords from your FAQ options in your flows. We have a helpful educational video from one of our Product & Education Experts that explains this workaround in detail. Please see the video linked below:  https://youtube.com/watch?si=hM1UFx0frUAcDjmo&%3Bt=712&v=AqFQbTSvYwY&feature=youtu.be
  • Alternatively, you can reconnect your Instagram page to your Facebook Page via Meta Business Suite. This will switch your registration flow back to the old one, enabling the Instagram Ads trigger. Please note, however, that removing your Instagram account first will permanently delete your contacts. If this option works better for you, a Loom Recording is linked below to guide you through the necessary steps:

Hi, @tree7363!

I've just checked and mine is showing up as usual.

Try cleaning your browsers cache/cookies (or even using another to access Manychat).

And if this continues… I recommend getting in touch with Manychat's Support Team opening a ticket at https://help.manychat.com/

@fgaulke Thanks for the response. Just tried cleaning cookies and using another browser and neither worked. I’ll reach out to support.
