Instagram Changes to Message Policy

Hello guys,
I think this is something urgent as it might affect some of my users in the next 12 hours.

@shinycondor You should probably just hit “change now”, or update your privacy settings so that your instagram account is able to be seen and receive likes, comments , and messages from followers or non followers. You should be fine if you make those changes. 

@TABMan ,  so does that mean, if i setup a comment reply trigger, every person who comments on my reel, be it follower or non-follower, will receive the link? 

has anyone gotten any straight forward clarity around this topic?
