Instagram connected, no workspace created – can’t upgrade or access support

Hi everyone,

 

I’m stuck with a very strange Instagram connection issue in ManyChat and would really appreciate any insights.

 

I wanted to contact official support, but I’m unable to upgrade my ManyChat account because no workspace is created. When I try to upgrade, I’m redirected back to my dashboard without any active Instagram channel. So I currently don’t have access to proper support either.

 

Meta confirms that my Instagram Business account is successfully connected. The authorization flow completes without errors, and I get the confirmation that the Business Portfolio is linked.

 

However, no Instagram workspace is created inside ManyChat. After the connection finishes, I’m redirected back to the reconnect screen and my account is not visible.

 

There is no “Already connected” error anymore. It looks successful on Meta’s side, but ManyChat doesn’t initialize the channel.

 

I have already:

• Switched Instagram from Business → Personal → Business

• Reconnected it to the correct Facebook Page

• Removed old Business integrations

• Enabled message access under Connected Tools

• Used incognito browser

• Confirmed I’m the Business owner

 

Has anyone experienced a situation where the Instagram connection completes successfully but no workspace is created?

 

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated 🙏

It seems that you already tried all suggestions I would give you. 😅

Before anything, check if Manychat didn't created another workspace only for your Instagram account. This happened for me in rare cases a long time ago, but it is something to check.

Just click on your Workspace image and verify if there's any other account that could be related to you:

 

I would also consider cleaning your browser's cache and cookies or even test it using another browser.
