Instagram DM Automations NOT working for 5 days now.

Really sorry you're dealing with this, 5 days is brutal.

A few things to try beyond just reconnecting:                                                                                                                   

1. Fully disconnect Instagram in ManyChat Settings → Instagram → reconnect from scratch, not just refresh. The comment-specific permission token can expire separately from the main connection. In Instagram settings → website permissions → apps and websites → remove ManyChat

2. Check if your flows reverted to Draft — Instagram API updates sometimes do this silently without notifying you.

 3. Check status.manychat.com — there may be an active incident affecting multiple accounts right now.

4. Verify your account type hasn't changed — switching between Business and Creator account can break comment trigger permissions entirely.

I already checked all of those things and it is still not consistently working and trying to get any help from meta is almost impossible. 

If you already reconnected everything, this is most likely an Instagram API or account restriction issue, not a flow problem.

Create a brand new post with a fresh keyword trigger and connect it to a new flow. Do not reuse the old one. Sometimes the original trigger gets stuck.

Also check Account Quality in Meta Business Suite. Even a soft messaging limitation can silently block comment to DM automations.

If it is still inconsistent, open a ticket inside ManyChat and share the exact post URL. Only they can check the backend logs.

If your Instagram comment-to-DM automation isn’t working, it’s likely an API or account restriction issue. Try creating a new post with a fresh trigger and new flow.
