Hi all, 

Recently I ran a post on Instagram driving people to comment, and in return we would DM them a link. 

As it was a free pass, I knew it would do really well - so didn’t include autoreplies to their comments, as I know sometimes Instagram could stop you commenting for 24 hours.

It’s done really well, 6k uses in like 48 hours - but now a lot of people are not going the link. They are being told we’ve sent them a message but are not able to view it. 

Is this a Manychat issue in that it’s struggling with the volume - or is Instagram starting to block them being sent because it views it as spam? 

Would love to know of any work arounds! As it’s annoying because I’m having to manually send lots of people the link when they complain that it is not working!

Sometimes I have the same headache with some accounts. In my experience, it's always related to Instagram's way of managing messages to new contacts.

In some cases, the automation message only appears in the users "message requests”. And this is a little hidden for many IG users. 

 

Sure, I had some minor cases in wich Manychat and Meta had some problems with its integration and didn't work for a small period. But for most of these cases, is always something at Meta's side that doesn't work…
