Is my message being sent after action #1

when i test this automation from my personal account to see if it works, I never get sent the last message.  Can someone advise if this automation is working by looking at the way I have it set up?

​@theleadershipacademybysg it’s only going to work if the person has already talked to your page before and is within the 24 hours window.

You’re doing a couple things wrong here:

First, it’s bad practice to have a message after a link button click. It’s not a conversational message and it may trigger outside the 24 hours (breaking the rules, and therefore not being delivered).

Second, when the person gets the first message they’re not yet a full subscriber (because of how the comments tool works). So if they click the link button, you won’t be able to send the message.

 

I suggest you do this instead…

Try to get the person to click on the first button, then follow up with a message with the link. After this first engagement they become a ‘full’ subscriber and the 24 hours window opens, so you can keep the conversation going.
