Is our Shopify solution viable for ecommerce and Manychat?

Hey everyone, long time MC user and looking for some feedback for our development of a physical product solution / integration with Shopify and Manychat.

We rely on MC heavily and love its simplicity, but the ecommerce side of things (and not having it) is taking it’s toll. Instead of leaving, we’re building for it!

One important thing I forgot to mention in the video is after serving the physical products, we can hop right back into another MC flow.

Question is, is this viable? Would anyone use it? Appreciate it ahead of time!

Hi, @MichaelV!

That's a really cool implementation! 👏👏👏
Have you considered turning it into a "native” Manychat app?

That is something we’re currently considering. So far it’s a stand-alone app, but it will certainly make implementation much easier if it has its own Manychat app.

Any thoughts or suggestions on what Michael recorded so far?

My suggestion would be: keep it simple 😅 (and multilingual).

There's a huge market share that could benefit from this. Specially influencers with brand/ product partnerships.

So, if your solution is easy enough for someone with basic automation knowledge to use without facing a steep learning curve… it could have a huge potential! 😉

Thank you for your insight, Fabio. That is excellent advice that we’ll take into consideration.

Thank you @Fabio Gaulke and @Raquel C! So far so good. No need for Zapier, Make, etc. The stuff we’ve been testing with physical products within our platform while running flows on MC (like tracking abandon carts, serving up tracking numbers, delivery notifications, and ton more on our end) has been exactly what i’ve, and our clients, have been needing. It’s becoming pretty darn powerful. I’ll have another video to show the progress soon.

And if anyone has any other ideas when dealing with Shopify or any kind of ecommerce within your Manychat flows, or to put simply, let us know what you dream of doing within your flows when selling products in messenger. We’ll get it added. Appreciate it!

Hello all, I’m trying to sync my Shopify store to FB Messenger so that I can create flows in Many chat that allow customers to browse categories and products and then lead to the shopify site to copmplete the transaction.   I undertand there is not a native integration.  From my research i found that shop sync: https://www.shop-sync.com/documentation is a tool that can be the bridge between Shopify and the many chat flow.  Can you advise if this is a viable soluiton, or can anyone recommend anything else to acheive this?  thanks so much
