Is there a way to keep track of the Post ID that someone commented on with IG or FB?  I am always wondering what posts are actually getting the most people involved but I don’t have the data point to do so!

Hi, @kwmanychat!

unfortunately, no… 🫠

What I do to get this level of tracking is creating one trigger for each post just for the first message, then I call the rest of the separated automation using the “Start Automation” step.

Okay so how I was breaking things out was  basically a trigger per key word -per platform -“surface” like DM or comment - originally I did this thinking I could use a trigger - route - delivery pattern (but comment replies obviously don’t let you put the reply after any other automation.

So I’d be concerned with how to actually have all of the posts accounted for - is each one a new automation? Does it become part of your content posting SOP - I post everyday so that would be a lot of overhead as I’m rarely in manychat.

Hi @kwmanychat , do you use the same key word for different organic posts? If that is the case, you are right is very complex to track the post. One thing you could try is to export to google sheets the time the user interact with your flow, so you can have a proxy of which day and what time the interaction took place. Its not perfect but can give you some insights.

If you dont use the same key words, you can do what @Fabio Gaulke already suggested. Create a pre automation flow and tag it with the add id…

Hope this helps

Cata.
