To understand why your direct message (DM) automation is not working, it's important to review the entire setup from the beginning, as several factors might be involved.

First, make sure your automation has been published. You can do this by clicking the "Publish" button in the top-right corner of the flow builder.

Also, check if there's a trigger set up — especially if it's a keyword-triggered automation. Manychat offers several templates that can make the setup easier, and you're welcome to use one of them.

If you'd like, you can share a screenshot of your flow. That way, we can help identify any possible issues.

If it's an Instagram comment reply automation, remember that it only responds once per user. So if you tested by commenting and then commented again, it won’t trigger a second time. In that case, try testing on a different post or with another account that hasn't commented before.
