Why isn’t the automation firing when I message the keyword?
I’m using the ‘out of the box’ automation template just to test this.
When I message the keyword “video” nothing happens. 


I have another automation working when they comment on a post… that runs the workflow and sends the initial message - however clicking the button then doesn’t send the next message… nothing happens.

Everythign is working fine with FB Messenger. It’s just the IG that’s the issue.

I’ve tried disconnecting IG and starting over from scratching reconnecting the account etc. All the meta settings have manychat as the receiver - However I’m wondering about this… the Instagram receiver only gives me “manychat” as the option and not the Manychat-IG (IG App)… could that be something?

Seems you're already did all the “standard recommendations” …

Try REMOVING the IG account from Manychat instead of just disabling and enabling it again.

IMPORTANT: this will also delete all Instagram contacts from your Manychat account. If this is bad, there are some ways to back it up and create an automation to get the data back as soon as a contact gets in touch again.

 

Also… wait 5 to 10min to reconnect the account, since the contacts will be deleted during some time.
