I have been trying to diagnose my manychats flow for the past week and its driving me insane 😂.

Context: I have started a FB page a month and a half ago - grew from 0 to 50k followers & 10m+ views. To monetize the traffic - I started to use manychats keyword trigger from reels/posts.

Since in Europe + Japan the Meta Business Suite keyword comment to dm automation is not available - I use manychats for this flow. User comments under reel - dm gets sent.

I have tested around 250 contacts so far with only about 5% delivery rate, which signals something structurally wrong. Its within the 24 hour window, no tags applied. I tried reply button + quick reply + long, short, personalised first messages and pretty much doesnt seem to work. Tried first messages without link aswell and still doesnt seem to do the job. Is this something with my FB page that is wrong that they are silently filtering most of my messages as spam? any fix? or is this something geographical I.E - europe gdpr restrictions for automations?

5% delivery with everything technically correct (within window, no tags issues, varied messages) usually means Meta is silently throttling at the page level. A few things to actually check:

1. Page Settings → Page Support Inbox. This is where Facebook drops block reasons and policy violation notices. If your page got flagged for high block rate, spam reports, or any messenger policy violation, the actual reason is sitting there. ManyChat won't surface it, but Meta will tell you directly if you look.

2. Block/spam report rate. Even a handful of users marking your DM as spam early in your sending history can flip your page into restricted delivery mode. Meta doesn't notify you when this happens, they just lower the delivery cap silently. 50k followers acquired in 1.5 months is very fast growth, and the audience quality may be skewing the report rate higher than typical.

3. One private reply per comment, period. Meta only allows one private reply per individual comment. If you've been re-testing on the same comments, only the first attempt actually fires. The rest show as "sent" in ManyChat but never deliver.

4. Window timing nuance. Comment-triggered DMs use the 7-day private reply window for the FIRST message, but any follow-ups in the same flow drop into the standard 24-hour Messenger window starting from when the user last interacted. Worth checking which specific messages are failing (initial private reply vs follow-ups).

5. On the GDPR/EU angle: I don't have verified info that EU has specific Messenger automation delivery restrictions causing low rates. If anyone here has actually confirmed that with Meta or seen documentation, would be useful to hear.

Honest take: at 5% with everything else technically correct, this is most likely a silent page-level throttle from Meta. The Page Support Inbox is the only place that will tell you the real reason. ManyChat support can't see Meta's internal flag state on your page.
