Many chat is answering DM's in spanish

Hi, my problem is that for some reason ManyChat has been replying to comments in Spanish, and I don’t know why. I also don’t understand why it’s replying at all, because it isn’t attached to any flow. Could you help me fix this? Thank you!

    It is a setting most people do not realize is on.

    The reason it replies even though nothing is attached to a flow is ManyChat AI Comments. It is an AI feature that auto-replies to comments on your posts and reels on its own, with no flow needed. That is almost certainly what is firing.

    To find it, go to the AI section in ManyChat (Automation, then AI, or under Settings) and look for AI Comments or AI Replies turned on. Toggle it off and the auto-replying stops. If you actually want to keep it, leave it on but edit the AI persona or prompt to reply in English, since the AI tends to pick the wrong language on its own. That is where the random Spanish is coming from.

    If AI Comments turns out to be off, two other things can cause it: a Default Reply set under Settings, IG, Default Reply, or a separate tool or a Meta Business Suite auto-reply still connected to the account and answering in the background.

    Start with the AI section, that is the usual culprit. If it is still replying after you check all that, DM me and I will help you find which one it is.
