Many Chats not connecting to my instagram

Hi,

My Manychats account keeps coming up with the error ‘to connect to your instagram you must link your facebook’

My instagram is linked to my facebook, but for some reason it is not letting me connect many chats to it. It allows me to connect manychats to facebook though – super confusing…

I’ve spoken to the Bot, but it is useless.

I believe it could be the fact that the last Social Media team has connect to many chats in the past, but never actually used it. So its may be already linked to a manychats account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi ​@HarryWalsh, I am sorry to hear you cannot connect your IG account 😣 .Probably if the IG account has beenalready connected to another Manychat account (likely by your previous social media team) then you won´t be able to connect to it.If this is the case, you can try to contact your previous team to transfer ownership of that Manychat account to you or If you have access to the original account, log into that profile where your Instagram is already connectedAlso make sure:You have a Professional Instagram account (Creator or Business)Instagram message access is enabledTry refreshing permissions in your current account firstHope this helps!Cheers!Cata
