MANYCHAT AUTOMATION NOT RESPONDING TO COMMENTS

Hey everyone, 

My manychat automation stopped responding to comments about a 5 days ago. I’ve refreshed the connections and reached out to support but I’m not getting any help. They’re emailing me once a day at most with random explanations and no solution. Here’s part of the last email I received and I followed the instruction he laid out and saw that he was wrong I was able to view my IG post in incognito mode when logged out (I also used a completely different browser). Their new follower feature also is only partially working on my account and I’ve been told that’s on Meta’s end. At this point, I’m so fed up with the lack of support I’m considering using GHL or switching to REVIO.

Is anyone able to help resolve this issue?

After reviewing your automation and account, I’ve identified the root of the issue. 

The problem is that Instagram's automated systems have flagged your post as restricted, which prevents the automation from being triggered due to Instagram’s content restriction policy.
 
You can check whether a post is restricted by opening it in your browser’s incognito mode or while logged out of Instagram. If the direct link to the post opens a page similar to the example below, it means Meta has flagged it:

      I just saw the following under KNOWN ISSUES TRACKER but it say’s RESOLVED. Does this mean this issue has been resolved?

      Hello, Manychat family,

      We’re currently aware of an ongoing incident on Meta’s side that is affecting Instagram comment Automations on a large scale. Comment triggers may fail or behave inconsistently for some accounts. We understand the importance of this for you, and we apologize for the impact this is causing.

      We’ve already reported the issue to Meta with critical priority. This is a Meta-side bug that requires changes on their end, so it’s not something we can directly fix in Manychat. That said, we’re actively pushing for updates through our private channels with Meta and will share news as soon as we have it.

      We're closely tracking the situation and following up with urgency. As a temporary workaround, we recommend using Instagram DM Keyword Automations instead of comment triggers where possible. DM triggers are working as expected and can help you keep users entering your Automations while we wait for Meta to restore comment functionality.

      You can follow updates on our status page at https://status.manychat.com/, and we’ll also notify you when Meta releases a fix and comment Automations are fully restored.
