Will I get banned if I use Manychat?
No, you won’t!
Manychat is officially approved by Meta, and as an official Meta Business Partner, it’s completely safe to use Manychat on your Instagram, Facebook or WhatsApp.
I’ve used Manychat with Instagram accounts of over 1 million followers for years, with absolutely no bans, warnings, blocks, or any other issues.
Just remember: you still have to comply with all other policies established by Meta! So you still have to comply with their Business and Community Guidelines, keep your audience happy, and make sure your account is not being reported as spam by your contacts!
As long as you follow the guidelines, respect your audience, and don’t spam people, you’re completely safe with Manychat!
Will I get shadow banned if I use Manychat?
No, you’ll not get penalized at all just for using Manychat.
Now here’s the catch: Manychat can help you do spammy things faster, and these spammy things may get your account penalized.
Let me give you an example…
The comments growth tool in Manychat is great tool to help start conversations and turn your audience into followers. And one of the cool features it has is letting you reply to comments publicly with another comment.
But if you have a lot of traffic, and all of the sudden you reply with the same exact comment hundreds of times, then your page will may get penalized.
The problem here isn’t Manychat. The problem is the spammy behavior your page had and that Meta did not like. Manychat just made it easier and faster to become spammy.
So as long as you use Manychat wisely and avoid these spammy behaviors your page will be perfectly fine, and will even benefit from the extra engagement you can generate with Manychat!
Can I use Manychat on my TikTok?
Yes! Manychat + TikTok is still quite new, so we’re learning the best ways to make the most of iy.
But you can rest assured that Manychat is working directly with TikTok to bring us this integration. And all the features that Manychat offers are 100% approved by TikTok.
The same basic rules applies as with Meta: respect your audience, provide value, don’t be spammy. That’s basically it!

Actually, yes! Manychat has a very generous free tier! Here’s all that you get:

- Up to 2 active sequences

Once you reach one of these limits, you’ll have upgrade to a PRO plan to continue using Manychat.

Can I connect more than one account to Manychat?
Yes! One Manychat account can be connected to:
- One Instagram profile
- One Facebook page
- One WhatsApp number
- One TikTok account
- One Telegram Bot
- One SMS number
If you need to connect several Instagram or Facebook accounts, you’ll need to have separate Manychat accounts for them.
I can’t connect my account to Manychat.

Can I automatically send DMs to new followers?
No, you can’t. Meta does not allow you to do that as it would probably be very very spammy! Your audience has to opt-in first.
You can do it manually though if you want, and when the person replies the automation will kick in. For example, we’ve used this strategy with clients when doing outreach to potential influencers.
Can I use Manychat on Facebook Groups or personal profiles? Or on WhatsApp groups? Or on Telegram channels and groups?
No - to all of the above!
Manychat is designed for personalized conversations between your business and your audience, and you can’t use it on groups or personal profiles.
I’m setting up a Comments Trigger, but I get an error.
