I asked a question about the red notification saying ‘Mark this message as comment reply’ and the thread has been marked as solve, but it isn’t.

i was told it wouldn’t show up as a comment but a DM but thats not what the screen is saying. This isn’t message 1, it’s message 2 with a free guide, so i don’t want it to post in the comments, it has to be by DM.

Can anyone help?

Hey, @DonnaM

In your first block you have to set a trigger word, right?

When someone comment with that word, you have two option:

Option 1: Send a comment reply

Option 2: No comment reply

In your second block you have to set “as comment reply” (Note: everything you write in this block, it will be sent to DM’s, it’s not public). You can have more info here: https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/articles/14281316989724-Instagram-Post-and-Reel-Comments-Trigger

The definition of “as comment reply” is because you are sending a message to an user that commented on your reel/post and you want respond it on their DM.

On the other hand, “within 24 hour window” is aplied when a user clicked on a button or quick replies.

I really hope this help, @DonnaM 🙌🏼
