Message Failed to Send, please contact Manychat Support

Hey, so suddenly my Manychat account stopped automations, stopped updating convos, and wouldn’t allow me to send messages.

I refreshed permissions, tried every workaround possible and went as far as deleting my instagram account from Manychat and reconnecting it (losing all my conversations and contacts), thinking that would solve the issue.

But no, after reconnecting the account, chats do update now, but cant send messages. 

NOTE: I have NO restrictions on Instagram’s side, so the issue is on Manychat’s integration or Manychat blocking my ability to send messages…

Any way of fixing this? I’m attaching a screenshot below

I have tried to reach support but we all know how that is innefficient and a “ticket” was created. If there is known workaround, or at least any other MC alternatives? thanks

Are you sure it’s not a block on Instagram side? How are you sure about that?

because I’m messaging people through instagram without a problem??

Hello, I have the same problem. All my automation has stopped and I cannot send any messages to my clients. Please help.

While support gets back to you, here are a few things I’d recommend double-checking:

  1. Instagram permissions
    You already mentioned you refreshed permissions, which is usually a quick fix, but since it didn’t work in your case, we can rule that out for now.
  2. Follow the official IG automation troubleshooting guide
    This step-by-step guide covers several edge cases that can cause comment automations to stop firing and is very helpful for diagnosing issues like this:

  3. Check for platform-wide issues
    Sometimes this is related to a temporary issue on Instagram or ManyChat’s side. You can check the current system status here:

  4. One-time trigger behavior
    Just as a reminder, Instagram comment automations only trigger once per user per post. If the same user commented again, the automation would not fire a second time.
