Meta ad entry point on FB > IG automation

Hi! I an running a Sales Objective campaign with a conversion location of my FB page and message destinations of FB and IG.

 

Every ad has it’s own MC automation that tags it and then triggers a follow up automation. 

 

For example, Service A ad 1, Services A ad 2 and Service A ad 3 all have their own flow as an ad entry point and after some tagging for attribution, they all go to the same flow, like General Service A Flow

 

Problem is, General Service A Flow needs to be on both IG and FB. It’s not triggering if someone comes in through IG

Unfortunately it won't work because of Meta's limitations. IG and FB work differently with Manychat (although both are from Meta).

 

You need to duplicate/ switch channels (to Messenger) for all your automations and create separated Ads for IG and FB, binding each one to the right automation.
