My clients want to leave everything in my hands and not touch anything

Hi! How are you? I'm Malena, I work with doctors, and I'm thinking about offering automation services. The first thing I want to offer is ManyChat. My clients are doctors who work all day and want absolutely nothing to do with technology. This presents two problems. They generally want to pay and have everything done for them. I already had a situation where I ended up using my MetaAds account to run campaigns because the client didn't have time to connect the MetaAds console to me and didn't understand the tutorial either (it's bad practice, I know).

The thing is, now I want to start offering automation services.

1. I have two options: either I help them configure their ManyChat, or I do it myself from the admin panel, absorbing the costs within the service price.

2. I want the FAQ bot; it would be very useful. Do I have to pay for that per client, or do I pay for it once for my account, and if it's from my admin panel, do I pay for it myself?

Thank you!

Hello, @MM.marketingmedico

You could offer something like an Implementation Fee + Monthly Service Fee for your clients.

And while it might seem easier to absorb the tool costs into your monthly service fee when clients want a hands-off experience, I highly recommend that the costs for Meta Ads and Manychat accounts be paid directly by the client using their own credit cards. You can then charge a separate service fee to manage the accounts and build the necessary automations. This avoids tying your personal/business finances to their ad spend and tool usage, which is much safer for you.

Regarding your questions:

  • Each Instagram account or Facebook Page must have its own dedicated Manychat workspace. You can create these workspaces and manage them from your dashboard, but you will need Admin access to their Meta assets. Once connected, you can guide the client to add their credit card to their specific Manychat workspace to handle the billing.

  • Manychat Pro is billed individually per workspace, starting at a base price and scaling with the number of contacts. Because each doctor needs their own workspace, a separate Pro subscription is required for each client to use features like the FAQ bot. There is no single master subscription, which is another great reason why it is better for clients to pay for their own workspaces directly.

As a tip, since you are already working with doctors, you might want to consider starting an automation agency focused specifically on medical clinics. This way, you can package this exact setup and offer it to more and more clients.

Hope this helps!
