Need help (stuck with Instagram Follow → DM automation)

I tried setting up Follow to DM automation in ManyChat.

I followed all the steps in the AI help bot.

It didn’t work even once.

Now when I go back to the automation, I see this message:

“This feature isn’t available for your Instagram account. Follow to DM isn’t available for your Instagram account. This feature is currently in beta. Access is controlled by Meta and can vary by account.”

At this point I’m not sure what to do next.

Has anyone:

  • Run into this beforee?

  • Got access later (and how)?

  • Switched to a different DM trigger that actually works?

Appreciate any help🙏

    Hi ​@eli.businessvaluation , yes, this is happening to some accounts. This a new feature, and Meta is blocking some accounts to use it. This is nothing related with Manychat. My best guess is to have some patience an try again few days latter. If this continues probably you can contact Meta team directly.

    doesn’t work for any account. People use manychat and pay for a feature scam… not good

      Yeah I want to know why this is happening. I had another account that I had to delete and now my new account I am getting the same feature. Why can't I message people if they start following and how can I get a refund or discount of it won't let me do this at all?
