Hi ManyChat team / community,

I need help from a human to reclaim access or at least detach my Instagram from an old ManyChat workspace.

Context

  • My original Facebook profile (the one I used to log in to ManyChat and create the workspace) was disabled by Facebook.

  • Since then I cannot log in to that ManyChat account/workspace.

  • I created a new Facebook profile (now admin of my Business Manager, Facebook Page, and Instagram account) and tried to connect Instagram to a new ManyChat workspace.

What happens

  • On the Connect Instagram screen, ManyChat shows: “already connected to oaccount name] … Switch Account / Request access.”
    The Request access button turns into “Request Sent” and never resolves, so I can’t proceed.

  • In Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations, I see ManyChat is active for my new Facebook profile, but Instagram still won’t connect in ManyChat.

  • This has been going on for ~2 months.

What I’ve already tried

  1. Removed and re-added ManyChat under Facebook Business Integrations (and granted all permissions again).

  2. Ensured my new Facebook profile is Admin of the Business Manager and the Facebook Page that’s linked to the Instagram account.

  3. Verified Instagram is a Professional account and linked to the Page.

  4. Tried Switch Account and Request Access multiple times.

  5. Tried connecting both from ManyChat and from Instagram (Settings → Messages → Connected tools when available).

What I need

  • Either restore my access to the original ManyChat workspace, or

  • Manually detach my Instagram Business account (@your_ig_handle) from that old, unreachable workspace so I can connect it to my new ManyChat workspace, or

  • Provide the exact Meta/ManyChat steps to force-unlink an Instagram account from a workspace when the original Facebook profile is disabled and can’t log in.

I can verify ownership of the Instagram and business in any way you need (add a code to bio, post a story, reply from official email/domain, etc.).

Thanks in advance for any help or an escalation path to a live agent. This is blocking my campaigns.
