Question

New unidentified taxes in my invoices

O.tunas

I work for a non-profit based in Spain and I’ve noticed in the last two invoices a fee identified as “impuestos” or “taxes”. Could someone clarify the nature of this tax? How is it calculated? Thank you.

Hello, @O.tunas!

Tax application can vary quite a bit from region to region depending on local regulations and the billing details of your organization.

In this case, it will be necessary to open a ticket…  The financial support team will be able to look directly into your account and explain accurately how that tax was calculated.

Here's a direct link to the ticket form = https://help.manychat.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=11962708022300

Hope this helps! 🙌

This is most likely VAT or IVA at 21%…
If you’re exempt, you’ll probably need to present documentation to Manychat so they can exclude your account from taxes...

I have the same 'hunch', but since it only started over the last two billing cycles, it might be something that changed locally or nationally.

In any case, if Manychat has support for nonprofits in this situation, there's a good chance they'll waive part of the taxes...
