I’d like to automate comments on OTHER people’s posts. Meaning show support when Instagram users use certain hashtags. Is it possible to automate a hashtag search that will comment on my behalf on other peoples’ content?

Using Manychat, you’re unable to do that.
On top of that, that could be against Meta rules, so you’ll need to be careful about that action.
