Hi everyone

We have been using ManyChat successfully to drive WhatsApp broadcast messages during launch campaigns.  However at the moment we are not running any launches so there is no need to keep the ManyChat account alive, until next time when we need it again.

Is there a way to pause our subscription for the moment until we need it again? If and when we resume, will everything be back to normal?  What happens to the WhatsApp number that is connected to the ManyChat account?

Thanks.

Hi, @Insaka!

You could cancel your subscription.

Once this is done, all PRO features stop to work (the same to automations using PRO features). And if you had more than 1000 contacts in this account, everything stops to work until you reactivate the subscription.

If you cancel the subscription for some hours and activate it back, all the integrations keep working… but I never tested keeping an account “disables” for a long period to know if it still works the same after reactivating the subscription.

@Fabio Gaulke  thanks so much.  I am also wondering about the number we’ve used for WhatsApp - will it still remain connected to ManyChat and if we activate the Pro plan again at a later stage, would we still be able to use the WhatsApp channel again?

Yes, as it gets integrated to your Meta Business Manager. You can check it here: https://business.facebook.com/latest/whatsapp_manager

In the worst case, you'll need to reconnect all channels again after some time. But it should work normally.
