Hi everyone,

I'm trying to set up an automation where users download a free guide from my Wix website. Once they submit the form, I want to send them the guide via email and initiate a WhatsApp message sequence in ManyChat.

I'm using Zapier to connect Wix Forms → Formatter (to split name) → ManyChat (Create Subscriber). However, I'm getting the following error in Zapier:

"Failed to create a subscriber in ManyChat. Error from halted execution: Permission denied to import phone, email. Please contact support to enable this feature."

I have already submitted a ticket to support, but has anyone encountered this issue before? Do I need to enable a specific setting in ManyChat, or is there an approval process for importing phone numbers and emails?

Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated!

I believe you will need to wait for support to enable this feature of creating while already saving the email.

If you want a temporary solution, you can use an additional module to update the contact in ManyChat. In the first module, create the contact enabling only WhatsApp. In the second module, retrieve the contact ID and update it by enabling the email. This way, it works.
