yes, something like this. I know I can insert variables. But the problem is I couldnot find nname] on the list, which is exactly the hInstagram profile name] I am referring to.

I fould this from the below article. How do you collect their first name beforhand? Or are you using any API?

I don’t quite understand what do you mean because you can simply use the First name, last name, full name fields as well as the Instagram Username field. They all worked for me and I’ve not heard of API integration for these fields. Just click on the {} and choose the field you want to use

Sorrt I didnt make it clear.

Its not about i dont know how to do it. Its about i dont have their information.
All my instagram contacts’s system fields are all empty. So even I insert efirst name/last name/full name], no name will show up. 

And for dinstagram profile name] I took a screenshop as below. I think instagram username and profile name are different.
Let’s say If you want 申朵拉 (申 is last name and 朵拉 is first name) show in the automated reply, which field would you use?

I’m not sure why yours is empty, because all the fields work for me. My first name and last name is the one appearing in the Contacts tab of ManyChat. Maybe you can try to click on Refresh Permission

Can you do this even if they are first time visiting your Instagram page?
Also, can you share with me the “freshjuice Instagram account” so I can try to see if my chinese name works or not (if it is ok with you).

Let’s say that your contact has this name on Instagram: “Patrick Jane | Manychat Specialist”.

For Manychat, in your automation, his first name is “Patrick” and last name is “Jane | Manychat Specialist”.

To make it right, you can use data collection and ask for his first and last name and use these variables.

I understand I can collect their first and last name using data collection. But i am wondering if i do not collect this  beforehand, does the name “Patrick” still appear? Let’s say he visits my page for the very first time. Thank you.

​@sharonworld Yes! In this Instagram handler “Patrick Jane | Manychat Specialist”, the first name is Patrick and the last name is Jane | Manychat Specialist.
