I’m wondering how I can hyperlink to an email -- as it stands, even if the person right clicked the message, they wouldn’t be able to copy the link, as it would copy the whole message.
Second, I’d love to know how to prevent ManyChat from opening up a new little bubble / chat when you do use a link. When I send my website in the text, for example, it’ sends a message before the automated message with my website alone.
See attached :)
thanks!

Hi, @Athena!
I would use buttons to solve these issues…
You will just need to change your message copy informing your contact to use the buttons instead of clicking a link.
For the website button, just choose "Open website” from te options and past the URL there.
And for the email, use the "mailto:” prefix. It will prompt a message to open an email app as you click/touch it. 😉
The only issue I see it the size of your text… there's a lower character limit for text messages with buttons: more info here
I’ve just tried this and it won’t let me save the button as it says mailto:[email address] isn’t a valid website link. Any ideas what to do next, please? For reference, I’m doing this in an automation to send DMs from post comments and have the option to add buttons but when I input this, it says ‘add a link to continue’
